Meet the Devine Dentistry Team
Dr. J. Adam Brantley
Dr. Brantley received his Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of South Carolina in 1994. He received his Doctor of Medical Dentistry degree from The Medical University of South Carolina in 1999. In 2000, he joined his father’s busy practice across from the V.A. Hospital. After two years, the practice outgrew the existing facility and was moved to the current location across from Dreher High School. Dr. Joe Brantley retired in 2002 and as our hygienist Joan likes to say, he is “obnoxiously happy.”
Dr. Adam Brantley believes that there are three key factors to providing the highest quality dentistry:
- The most advanced education
- The latest proven technology
- A facility that enables the highest quality of dentistry to be delivered in a comfortable setting.
While the American Dental Association only requires 18 hours of continuing education every year and a half, Dr. Brantley attended over 15 days and 100 hours of classes in 2007. In August Dr. Brantley will finish a five year/ twenty weekend continuum that is structured toward completing the requirements to become a Master in the Academy of General Dentistry, an honor less than 2% of dentist in the United States have earned.
He is committed to keeping up with the latest advancements in treatment and incorporating them into his practice. He is a member of the American Dental Association, the South Carolina Dental Association, the Greater Columbia Dental Society, and the Academy of General Dentistry.
Dr. Brantley is an active member of the Sierra Club and the Columbia East Rotary club, where he has served on the board for two years. He has two daughters and enjoys spending time in the great outdoors and traveling.
